Belle High School seniors will decorate their cars this Sunday for the one-of-a-kind 2020 Graduation Parade on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
Maries R-2 Superintendent Lenice Basham told the Maries County Advocate, “We are still going to have a graduation in June or July, but we wanted to do something on the date of their graduation day — we wanted to celebrate with them,” Basham said. “May 10 was supposed to be their day. We can’t do graduation on that day, but we wanted to do something special on the day of.”
While students parade through the streets of Belle, which will be released by the Sheriff’s department this week, the parade will be escorted by the Maries County Sheriff’s Department and Belle Division, along with the Belle Fire Protection District.
